This 38,000 square foot facility is home to Wisconsin’s most extensive and diverse collection of carriages, sleighs, and wagons. The Wesley W. Jung Carriage Museum contains 70 horse and hand-drawn vehicles beautifully displayed in appropriate historical /interactive settings.
The visitor center includes a multi-tiered orientation to the historic site, a large room for public and private functions, a classroom, and a museum store and café.
The project added a number of green features to the Historic Site, such as high-efficiency LED lighting, extensive use of local building materials and a geothermal heating plant.
Completed in 2013.
