MSOE recently completed construction on the new, $3 million, 25,000 square-foot Ruehlow Nursing Complex, which is the new home for the nursing classrooms, labs and faculty offices. The new space is nearly quadruple the size of the previous nursing labs, and allows faculty to enhance the already innovative educational experience. Nursing students actively engage in simulation – based learning opportunities in authentic representations of actual healthcare situations. The new complex features four simulated hospital rooms connected by a central nursing station, an arrangement similar to a hospital intensive care unit.
Completed in 2013.
